Which nutrient line should a beginner start with?

A simple two- or three-part liquid line with a clear chart — General Hydroponics Flora series or FoxFarm's trio are the ones we hand to most first-time growers. Athena's Blended line is the easy step up. Bring your water and your room size and we'll pick with you.

Do I need Cal-Mag with well water in Worcester County?

Often not — many local wells already carry plenty of calcium and magnesium, and adding more can lock other nutrients out. Test first. We read EC and pH at the counter for free, and growers on RO water usually do need it.

Can I bring my water in to be tested?
