How it works
- Apply. Takes two minutes. Tell us where you post and the word you want in your link. We approve real growers, real fast.
- Get your link. Something like mattshydroponics.com/yourname. Every visit that comes through it is tagged to you, and any order that follows within 30 days is yours. Nothing for the customer to type. In the store, they say your name at the counter in Webster or Milford.
- Share it your way. Grow diaries, YouTube, Instagram, a podcast, your grow club, a text to a buddy who is building a room. No scripts, no minimum posts.
- Get paid every month. A statement of every order that came through your link, and your commission by PayPal, Venmo or store credit.
One 5%, not two. Your customer pays the same everyday price as everyone else, and the whole 5% comes to you. No coupon games, no arguing over margin, nothing of yours ever ending up on a deal site.

Commission is calculated on the product subtotal after discounts, before tax and shipping. Paid once the order has shipped or been picked up and the return window has closed.

Who this is for
Growers who post their runs. YouTube and TikTok channels. Podcast hosts. Grow-club and meetup organizers. Consultants and facility designers who spec equipment. Anyone who gets asked "where do you get your stuff?" more than once a week.
You do not need a big audience. You need one grower who trusts you. Some of our best referrers have never posted a thing; they just send friends in with their name.
The rules, in plain English
- Your link is for other people. Your own purchases do not pay commission.
- Commission is paid on orders that were paid for, shipped or picked up, and not returned. Refunds and chargebacks come back off the next statement.
- For commercial deals, tell us who you sent before they order, or have them name you. We credit the referral when the sale is locked in.
- No bidding on our name or our brands in paid ads, no posting your link on coupon or deal sites, no spam. Share it with people, not with bots.
- Say what you actually think about the gear. We would rather have an honest review that sends us five customers than hype that sends fifty and returns forty.
- Rates for featured and sale items change month to month; the 5% baseline does not. If we ever change the baseline we give you 30 days’ notice in writing.
- Either of us can end it at any time. Commission earned before that date still gets paid.
Payouts
Statements go out on the 15th of each month for the previous month’s qualifying orders. Choose PayPal, Venmo, or store credit. Minimum payout is $20; anything under that rolls into the next month. You will get a line-by-line list of the orders, so you can check our math.

Do I need a website or a big following?
No. A link works in a text message as well as it works on a channel with 50,000 subscribers.

Does it work if they buy in the store?
Yes. That is the part nobody else can offer. Have them say your name at the counter in Webster or Milford and it goes on your statement.

How do commercial deals get credited?
Tell us who you sent, or have them name you when they call for a quote. Commercial pricing is quoted, not coded, so we track those by hand. You get 5% when it closes, and up to 10% depending on the deal.

Does my customer get a discount?
No. They pay the everyday price and the whole 5% comes to you. There is no code to type; your link does the work online and your name does it at the counter. That is also why nothing of yours will ever end up on a coupon site.

What about returns?
If the order comes back, the commission comes back off your next statement. Simple and fair both ways.

How fast do you approve?
Usually within a couple of business days. We look at whether you actually grow or talk to people who do. That is the whole test.
