Xtreme Gardening/RTI Feeding Schedule
About Xtreme Gardening
Xtreme Gardening (RTI) is a biologicals company. Mykos is the mycorrhizal inoculant it is famous for — a granular product you put in the hole at transplant — and Azos is the nitrogen-fixing rooting bacteria that goes with it. Between them they cover the two things a root zone benefits most from having early.
Nothing here replaces a base feed. These are inoculants: get them in contact with the roots at transplant or at cloning, keep the medium alive, and they do their work for the rest of the cycle. Calcium Carbonate and Gravity round out the range.

A checkmark means the manufacturer's own chart calls for an application that week; "F" means a foliar application; a dash means the chart calls for nothing that week. AZOS, MYKOS and AZOS RED LIQUID are each marked "every transplant" on the manufacturer's own chart rather than tied to a specific week, and are only ever used at transplant during Veg — none of the three has a Bloom-stage application on this chart.
| Product | Small Scoop | Large Scoop |
|---|---|---|
| Azos | 2 gm = 1 tsp = 5 mL | 4 gm = 1 tbsp = 15 mL |
| Mykos and Mykos WP | 4 gm = 1 tsp = 5 mL | — |
| Container Size | Application Rate | Plant Stage |
|---|---|---|
| 1 litre | 1 tsp or 5 mL | Propagation |
| 3 litre – 4 litre | 1 tbsp or 15 mL | Vegetative |
| 18 litre – 20 litre | 2 tbsp or 30 mL | Bloom/Flower |
The manufacturer's own chart prints the middle Plant Stage as “Vegetive”; published above as “Vegetative”.
Azos is applied at the time of planting to the root ball, or mixed with water. Mykos is applied at the time of planting to the root ball, sprinkled in the transplant hole, or applied in-furrow when planting seeds; Mykos WP is used for root drenches, and the Mykos Root Packs for clean transplanting in hydro, coco and soil.
Figures as published by Xtreme Gardening / RTI on the application chart image above, which also states "Application rates vary. Refer to product packaging for detail." Feeding charts are recommendations only. Adjustments may be needed based on environmental conditions, your grow structure, and any additional products you run. Actual results vary.
