Growing Organic Farm Crafted Fermented Nettle Extract 1/2 Gallon

Description

Growing Organic Farm Crafted Fermented Nettle Extract is a seasonal Fermented Plant Extract made from stinging nettles. It is made on a small farm near Paonia, Colorado, using natural probiotic farming practices. The farm has operated under the direction of Miles Filippelli since 2016, producing plant inputs for the Fermented Plant Extracts line.

How it's made

Lactobacillus bacteria are saprophytes, meaning they are decomposers that break down organic matter. That trait is put to work in Fermented Plant Extracts, where lactobacillus are fed specific nutrient-dense food sources to break down plant compounds and extract them into a liquid form.

Why use it

Stinging nettle is known to be nutrient dense, fiber producing and good for animal feed, and it has been used in many traditional settings as a soil conditioner, foliar spray and green mulch. This extract is particularly useful in the transition from veg to bloom and throughout the bloom cycle.

How to use

  • Soil drench: 1 - 4 oz to 1 gal of water
  • Foliar spray: 1 - 4 oz to 1 gal of water
  • Field application: 10 - 30 gal per acre
  • Compost booster: 4 - 8 oz to 1 gal of water
