Description
Elite Micro is one part of Flying Skull's three-part Elite base: Elite Micro, Elite Grow and Elite Bloom. The line is highly soluble, non-organic and particulate-free, which Flying Skull notes matters in hydroponic systems such as deep water culture, and it is formulated to deliver nutrients at lower EC/PPM levels. Elite Micro carries the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur and micronutrients, and it goes into both the grow and bloom recipes. This listing is the 40 lb size.
Guaranteed analysis (4-13-23)
- Total nitrogen (N): 4.00% (4.00% nitrate nitrogen)
- Available phosphate (P2O5): 13.00%
- Soluble potash (K2O): 23.00%
- Magnesium (Mg): 3.00%; sulfur (S): 3.00%
- Boron (B) 0.050%, copper (Cu) 0.050% chelated, iron (Fe) 0.30% chelated, manganese (Mn) 0.20%, molybdenum (Mo) 0.005%, zinc (Zn) 0.050% chelated

Mixing (per gallon of water)
-
Basic grow: 1/2 level tsp Elite Micro and 1/2 level tsp Elite Grow. For lettuce, herbs and delicate plants, use 1/4 tsp of each.
-
Basic bloom: 1/2 level tsp Elite Micro, 1/4 level tsp Elite Grow and 1/4 level tsp Elite Bloom.
-
Feed targets: hydroponic and soilless 300-400 ppm (0.6-0.8 EC) in vegetation and 450-600 ppm (0.9-1.2 EC) in bloom; soil 400-500 ppm (0.8-1.0 EC); lettuce and shade plants 200-300 ppm (0.4-0.6 EC).
-
pH: soil 6.4-7.0, hydro 5.8-6.5.
Good to know
- Never mix Elite Micro, Grow and Bloom together in concentrate. Add each one to the main tank separately. You can dissolve the powder in a little water first (Flying Skull's example: 10 tsp in 2 cups of water).
- Flying Skull says 1 lb each of Elite Micro, Grow and Bloom makes up to 220 gallons of nutrient for large, full-sun plants, or 440 gallons for shade plants such as lettuce.
