Power Si Feeding Schedule
About Power Si
Power Si is a mono-silicic acid product, and the distinction matters. Most silica supplements are potassium silicate, which is highly alkaline and has to be converted by the plant before it can be used. Power Si is already in the form the plant takes up, so it doses at a fraction of the rate and does not push tank pH around.
What silica does is structural: thicker cell walls, stronger stems, better tolerance of heat and light stress. It is one of the few additives whose effect you can usually see with your hands.
