This Hanna Instruments electrode storage solution is made for pH and ORP electrodes. A pH electrode responds fastest when its sensor tip and reference junction stay moist, so keep the electrode in this solution, or refill its protective cap with it, whenever it is not in use. This listing is the 500 mL bottle.Key features Formulated to minimize bacterial growth on the electrode. Made for storing any pH or ORP electrode. Air-tight bottle with a tamper-proof seal. Each bottle is marked with a lot number and expiration date. Unopened bottles have an expiration of 5 years from manufacture. Good to know After cleaning an electrode, soak it in storage solution for at least one hour before taking measurements. Never store pH or ORP electrodes in distilled or deionized water. Hanna notes it shortens the life of the sensor.

 HI7061M is a general purpose cleaning solution that can be used for a variety of applications. Electrodes can become dirty from use and will produce inaccurate results even as they read correctly in a pH buffer. Hanna's® cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues that are left on electrode surfaces when immersed in samples during measurement or when stored incorrectly. Hanna suggests cleaning the bulb and junction of your electrode on a regular basis to ensure that the probe is always clean and to prevent any clogging of the junction.
